All 4th and 5th grade students are eligible to sign up for Choir. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursday from 7:30-8:00 in Ms. Willis's room. Rehearsals will start on September 17.
Returning 5th grade choir members: you will be performing for the First Responders Program on September 11th at 9:00 A.M. Rehearsals for you guys will begin September 3!
Attire for choir performances is the black "Benignus Music" polo shirt. This is the same shirt from last year. It is also the same shirt Rapid Paw uses. You do not need to purchase a new one if you have one that still fits.

Behavior & Attendance
1. Attendance is mandatory for every rehearsal. If a student is in school, we would have expected to see them at rehearsal that morning. Two unexcused absences from rehearsals will result in removal from the group. Examples of unexcused absences are sleeping in or forgetting to come to rehearsal.
2. Students must be on time to rehearsals. Rehearsals begin at 7:30 am. Two tardies will equal one unexcused absence.
3. Students must make their best behavior choices during rehearsals. Parents will be contacted if a student’s behavior disrupts rehearsal. Multiple disruptions in rehearsals could result in removal from the group.
4. Rapid Paws members must attend the mandatory performances. Please see dates of performances in previous section.
5. As a member of an extra-curricular school group, maintaining good behavior outside of Rapid Paws is important. If a Rapid Paw member receives an office referral or is assigned detention, ISS or OSS, Mrs. Bross and Ms. Willis will meet with the principals to determine if it is necessary to remove the student from Rapid Paws.
6. N’s or U’s for behavior on Wednesday folders will result in the student being on probation from Rapid Paws. Mrs. Bross, Ms. Willis and a principal will determine a course of action from there.
7. We are fortunate to have quality instruments provided both by the district and Benignus PTO. Students will be taught proper technique, handling and rules of playing these instruments correctly. If an instrument is damaged as a result of a student disregarding proper instrument care and maintenance, the student will be removed from Rapid Paws.
